Angels RBI Elementary Division Baseball League Come out and support our 4th and 5th grade students as they play their very first baseball game of the season on Tuesday, April 16th at 3:15 p.m. The game will be held at the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Ana -950 W. Western Association of Schools and Colleges Visit (WASC) April 21-23, 2013 EBC Academy is a WASC accredited school. This year we have our 3 year term revisit on April 21st through 23rd. The WASC accreditation process fosters excellence in elementary, secondary, and adult education by encouraging school improvement. WASC accreditation recognizes schools that meet an acceptable level of quality, in accordance with established, research-based WASC criteria. We are very proud that EBC is one of the few elementary schools in Southern California to earn this significant achievement! Please ask the office how you can support EBC during their visit. |

Pasta for Pennies Congratulations to Ms. Gadd's class for bringing in over $200.00 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Her class will earn a Silver Pennant and a lunch for the entire class courtesy of Olive Garden. Congratulations Cougars for exceeding the school goal of $1,000.00 by bringing in $2,141.50. Way to go Cougars! |

Spring Break EBC students are on Spring Break from April 1st to April 12th. School will resume on Monday, April 15th. |

Celebrate Earth Day With Us!  
Working together with Downtown Inc., EBC student recycled art will be featured during the first Saturday Artwalk at the Plaza of the Arts in downtown Santa Ana! Come out and support our students and enjoy raffles, live music, and prizes! Fun for the whole family!

Science Assembly Our culminating activity for March will be a science assembly in which all grade levels will present a science experiment in which their classes has been working on the last couple weeks. Students will be interviewed by their teachers during the assembly to find out more about the experiments. I even hear that we have a couple presentations that will erupt! Parents are always welcome to participate but seating will be limited due to an all school assembly. |
